Maria Montessori International School is a caring and nurturing educational community composed of the Preschool as well as Grade School and High School Departments. The Preschool Department has four levels namely: Playgroup, Nursery, Pre-kinder and Kindergarten. Its classroom is a “Prepared Environment”. This is an “Open Classroom” with defined areas for Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Activities. It is so designed because it adopts the Montessori Method of Instruction. It uses English as its medium of instruction.
The Grade School and High School Departments on the other hand, have adopted the K-12 Curriculum and its curricula are imbued with the Montessori philosophy which is the development of the whole child.
